Phoenix Farm is “a well-constructed, self sufficiency model passive solar hobby farm”, centred on 50 acres of hay fields. It is powered by a hybrid solar/turbine system. The 1,545 sq. ft. board/batten home has been designed and constructed utilizing the concept of low environmental impact, local top-quality materials and all modern conveniences, except a clothes dryer and central a/c.
